Chapter 1: The Goal
Everything revolves around the final battle of each round. Each round has 4 battles and only the winner of the fourth battle avoids penalty points. The player with the fewest penalty points at the end wins the game.
Chapter 2: Your Hand
You start with 4 potato cards and 1 specialty card. Your potato cards show your power. Your specialty card shows your chaos potential. With such a small hand every play matters and bluffing becomes real.
Chapter 3: The Battles
Each battle you play exactly 1 potato card. The first card sets the color and everyone must follow that color if they can. Only the highest card in the determined color wins. If you cannot follow, you may play anything, although it cannot win. The winner of the battle starts the next one.
Chapter 4: The Chaos
This is where the game explodes. Specialty cards can flip numbers, switch colors, disable other cards or even reverse who wins. These moments create panic, surprise and unforgettable reactions. This is the real heart of Fried Potatoes.
Chapter 5: The Fry
Players can call Fry to raise the penalty stakes for the round. This creates pressure and bluffing, since anyone can pretend to have a strong hand. One Fry call can change the entire round in seconds and often leads to hilarious regret.
